There is some kind of glitch in my game. Whenever I equip a weapon from the pipboy and then exit the pipboy I am still unarmed. Sadly I have the game on Steam, which have no option for manual update, so I simply have to hope they have the latest patch installed. I tried with different weapons and I started a new character, but nothing worked. I also recently installed Dead Money, if that might have anything to do with it. Please help.

Look to the bottom right of the screen. Does a condition bar and ammo count appear?

If so, try firing or pressing R to draw your weapon.

Otherwise, it's not a bug I've heard of yet.

No, that's just it, it doesn't. The weapons won't equip.

Okay, and now I've also tried reinstalling the game and still the problem remains. Definitely some kind of glitch.

This is going to sound incredibly stupid but when you equip the item are you right clicking or left clicking to select it?
