Thinking of getting a gaming laptop BUT I need more than 30 MINS of battery lol.

I have $1800 and I want a laptop that can go without a charge IN GAME for at least 2 hours if not more.
I want to run VEGAS on at least Medium-Low specs. Medium textures 0x AA/4x AF.

I'm not opposed to getting a 1,500 laptop and putting a 150$ ssd and 150$ of ram in it btw.
Or some kind of mobile generator lol.

Is it serriously hard to find with that kind of budget?!

For €500 i can get an 8 hour battery, 4gigs ram and an i3 proc (can play oblivion on low) or sacrifice haf the battery and haf the ram and you get an nvidia gf310m graphics card in a different model. $1500 is a MASSIVE amount!!

I only get 5-30 fps on my tri sli gtx 570 setup on ultra.
So obviously I need to spend a massive ammount because it wont run well on my 2000$ computer.
I'd hate to see what it runs at on a single card budget setup.

Is that a joke or something? A single GTX 570 could max this game. It's obvious to me that there must be something wrong with your setup...perhaps too many background applications. Even my older 1GB Radeon 4870 got great frames at 1920x1080 with pretty much max settings. And this game is not really going to scale Tri-SLI very well, if not at all, especially at anything lower than 2560x1600 resolution. Elderscroll/Fallout games are hit-and-miss with Crossfire and SLI.

And a $1800 notebook is not going to run the game better than your current system, but if you really want a notebook for that much, one of these should fit the bill fine:

Well, yasee... most lappys with actual graphics chips (not Intel Sorry-Excuse-For-A-Graphics Chips) typically don't have long battery life. They usually also go into a reduced power mode when not plugged in. Bonafide 3D graphics chips are hungry beasts, even laptop chips.

If you want completely cord-free gaming, you're better off getting a handheld like a DS or something.

No I don't have any background things. And it runs at 120 fps unless there is a person or goul around. If I kill them it goes to 120 fps.
But if im in a city its like 5 - 15 fps.
Its a virgin windows 7; I only have like 3 other steam games installed.
