I was thinking of starting a new game just so I can see what it's like to fight in the arena. Is it even worth it?

I was thinking of starting a new game just so I can see what it's like to fight in the arena. Is it even worth it?

There are only 3 fights.
Who are they against?

1) Two raggedy slaves
2) A captured NCR soldier
3) A female NCR ranger
The fights are a cakewalk if you're skilled at melee combat (you only get a machete)
Sadly, once you do these three fights, that's it. No one from the legion wants to fight you (pathetic really - they're supposed to be so fearless and macho) and Otho says that none of their other captives would be a match for you, so that's it.
You do get legion fame, and they remark that they cannot believe that you took on a ranger one-on-one and won.

Don't forget the fight against the Dogs. Which you get with the lost teddybear quest (not sure if it is Wild Wasteland related). If you have four of this beasts it's pretty hard.

True, and you can fight Benny in the arena if he escaped from the Tops.
I've never gotten to do the Sgt. Teddy dogfight b/c Melody has never spawned in the Brahmin pen during any of my three play throughs!!
