So I was looking over my copy of the platinum chip I got with my collectors edition of the game and I noticed that the first ring starting from the middle has what appears to be morse code on it. I decoded both sides and they turn out to be numbers. Starting from largest gap and turning the chip in a counter clockwise manner the "200 on the house" side is decoded as 112281 and the "lucky 38 side" is decoded as 232077. I started to look closer and noticed a few other things as well. On the "lucky 38" side they chose to have the roulette ball resting in the cup for number 10 and on the opposite side the ball is in the cup for number 7. I also compared the order of the numbers on this chip to those of a real american roulette wheel and they do not match (I also checked it against a European wheel but that was out because they do not have the double zero) so it looks like the creators of the chip either put the numbers in a specific order of their own choosing, or they are completely random.
Call me a conspiracy theorist :whisper: , but I'm just wondering if anyone else noticed anything odd about their platinum chip and had any clue as to if any of this actually ties into the gameplay somehow. Has anyone maybe come across an area that is inaccessible except with a code that you, as the player not the character, can type in manually without having to find a code somewhere in the game?
Happy hunting all! :gun:
