ok well my new vegas is just not opening up, well it opens past the launcher but then it just says its stopped working, ive tryed to re install it twice and tryed to verify integrity of game cache but still nothing... any fixes possible? I bought the game through steam btw. :vaultboy:

Hm, strange... After installing I had exactly the same problem. I could not even start the game because right after the launcher the game stopped working. However when I checked the integrity of game cache I had to re-download several files and afterwards the game worked. So far I have only created a character and walked around in the starting location. I'm running NV on Win7 64bit with a Radeon 4890.
