Is there any benefit in sleeping with hokers on the game like sleeping in your own bed ect?

Just seems a bit of a pointless function if you give away caps for the screen to go blank and then come back again.

Not everything in the game is meant to have tactical functions.

Role playing purposes? completely useless otherwise.

Unfortunatly only Fisto and one other I think have sound effects, which makes it better, but still, just a fun little addition i think. Besides, what did you expect in vegas?

They did have sound effects, but were removed in a patch.

You can pay the guy at the Atomic Wrangler to help your reputation in Freeside - using a prosttute should have some similar benefit - boosting rep with that faction/casino/wherever, getting lower prices on goods if you're a 'regular' customer, or even access to some new stuff (i dunno, a new kinda alcohol, higher gambling limit before you're banned), something. The side-quest with the Gomorrah girl was interesting - there should be a lot more like that, interesting character quests.

You cannot, but no doubt there will be mods that add such to the game pretty quickly - I know several mods for FO3 added diseases in.

I hear ya. I've never paid one to do the "buisiness" with, in fear of getting my inventory jacked. (I know this doesn't happen.) :laugh:

I don't have the patch installed and I get sound effects with the girls that I didn't have to pay....and the fade-out/fade-in with those I did. Apparantly New Vegas hokers don't do GFE.

I had sounds once, but since then the screen just fades black like in F3, and I don't have the patch?

You don't pay a hoker to stay the night, you pay her to leave.

When you sleep with Sarah Weintraub you get the well rested benefit which normally isn't available from Vault 22 beds. It be interesting if that was THE only.

But really folks its Vegas and it wouldn't be vegas without prostitution and gambling. Be thankful that unlike most RPG games the casinos pay out in cash instead of only being able to spend chips on prizes like your at Chucky Cheese.

Yep pretty much. I still do it though. They could do the fade out but have a bit more fun with six like Fallout 2 did, with the holo porm studio in New Reno and the pormstar perk, and whoring your companions out.
