Had a busy week and didn't play NV at all. Today I launched the game, having forgotten where I was or what I had been doing.

After some fast travelling here and there, I encountered a nightkin in the dark cave near black mountain, pressed the left mouse button and.... saw my 2 fists!

My inventory was empty (and I never loved Cass and ED-E more than today for saving my skin).

Now.... where exactly could my stuff be... it can't be at Caesar's - they give you back everything when you leave don't they?
I remember having done the Boomers' quests last week, and also something where I helped the NCR but it's all fuzzy now :facepalm:

I need to get my stuff back, heck I was rich... even my caps were taken... all my stimpacks, weapons, armor etc... :cryvaultboy:

Just guessing here but that fact that your stimpacks are missing makes me think it's the Legion. I'm pretty sure everyone else let's you keep those. Did you walk out or fast travel away? If you used fast travel that may be the issue.

Have you visited the Brotherhood of Steel Bunker at Hidden Valley, perhaps? When I first went there, they forced me to hand over all my items, not just weapons, but clothes, stimpaks, and ammunition and such as well, brought me in to talk to their Elder, who gave me a task, and while they gave me back my items, I noticed that rather than just adding them back into my inventory like casinos generally do, they left them all in a countainer and let me take them myself. It's possible that you forgot to take them from the countainer or figured they'd be added in the usual way, I suppose, and never noticed you were mistaken until you got into a fight.

If it's not there, then maybe you were struck by a glitch, if it were just weapons and stimpaks, I might guess that Caesar's Legion was the culprit, if you visited the Fort recently, but if it's armor and caps too, maybe you fought in the arena?

I've always gone into the bunker with Veronica so I've never had to give them my gear,,,, didn't know about that!

Yes now I remember I'm pretty sure that's it.

Now off to search for that container...
