Strip thoughts/opinions

I haven't explored the strip area too much yet but what's everyones opinions on the city of vegas and the strip? I've explored around to unlock markers on my world map and there are a ton of locations around new vegas city and new vegas in general. I think I'm at 147 locations found right now.

The Strip itself? I am rather disappointed. There are three functioning casinos, an NCR base, and not much else from what I've been able to find. The area surround it? Thrilled. Really captures the classic Fallout feel

The lights in the city are brilliant! Really gives me a good Vegas feel (as it should). And guale was right, outside of the city is really nice, but The Strip is small. Also the ghetto areas are really cool! It really makes me feel as if I'm in a ghetto. The ambiance is great! For example, while you are in a ghetto you can hear breaking glass every now and then. Also there are thugs that will come at you.

The one thing the strip needs is an expensive store.

An expensive store would be nice but really I think it needs a few smaller skeevier casinos. More like a hole in the wall with a slot machine or two. I'm sure before too long this will all be fixed in mods.

I thought the strip svcked. It was SO much smaller than they made it seem, what they showed you in the demo's was literally just about it. But its alright cause you can gamble the night away, but still.... :(

There are three casinos, each with a very different atmosphere but they are all massive. I'm just saying it would be nice to have a hole in the wall type, or maybe even some kind of underground betting parlor. I guess there is the wrangler in Freeside and it's meant to cover the lower class gambling establishments.

I think the strip and surrounding area are perfect, considering it is 200 years after the world and every human being on it were almost completley wiped out.
p.s. NO THIS DOES NOT FEEL LIKE EXPANDED DLC.....HOMIE PLEASE....sorry, someone in another thread started that. Just had to get it out of my system.
