Okay, I need to ask this, as I'm boggled. I've been playing with explosives in Fallout: New Vegas, and I'm having issues. Aside from limited use outside of VATS, I've run into some snags that make me wonder exactly what is going on.

#1: Do explosives have armor penetration values? It seems like Frag Grenades and Frag Mines do a great deal more damage than Dynamite and Powder Charges despite similar damage values.

#2: Does Demolition Expert actually affect Dynamite? As noted, there seems to be a wide gap between the two basic types of bombs in terms of their damage yield.
