Multiplayer Problems which have to be fixed NOW

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 3:15 am

First of all the game is awesome :D
if it not for some problems online.
these bugs are very annoying and need to be fixed NOW.
these are the bugs.
No sound
Invisible enemy's (mainly with bots i think)
text bug

the sound is a real issue cause its in all the maps. just playing and killing and poof. no sound. only the command post gives a little working sound.
and it stays till the map is over and you have to pray it won't happen in the next map.

the invisible enemy's are als an issue. mainly with the campaign. that's where i got this bug.

last for now is the text bug. my text on screen aren't normal. they are now some blocky weird thing. it reminds me of the crack monster thing of pokemon red and blue.

These are the worst bug i got now and need to be fixed NOW.

Im on a PC btw

sound bug only happens when you play the refuel map from my understanding so avoid that one map and you should be good

Completely agree with this post...

I can't help but think that it should have been IMPOSSIBLE not to pick up these bugs in beta? A slightly delayed launch and launching a working game is always better than releasing a game which is coming apart at the seams... :(

I've only gotten the sound issue on Refuel, but I agree it makes me simply quit the server when that map pops up, which is a shame because it's a really, really fun map. I just can't stand not hearing when I'm being shot at, and dying from seemingly out of nowhere. I haven't gotten the other bugs listed here though, thankfully.

Sigh. I leveled a character, a security Engineer/Soldier from 1-20 doing single player. Towards the end, singleplayer became unplayable on normal difficulty, due to a combination of enemy NPC bots being freakishly accurate, and friendly NPC bots being outright stupid. I tried multiplayer. Of the 4 games I played, two had no audio, and every other player was invisible. I lost a match because I could not see a demolition charge, even though I was standing right next to it, and was an engineer, and could have hypothetically defused it. I died over and over again because I can't see my enemies. My team won a single match, which was not bugged.

The single player of Brink is broken though horrible, horrible A.I. design. The multiplayer is broken through numerous bugs. I bought pre-ordered and bought 3 copies of Brink. I bought the strategy guide. I followed this game for months. I really wanted it to do well. But both single player and multiplayer are failures. I am not really angry the multiplayer is broken, bugs are inevitable at launch and hard to fix. I am however thoroughly angry about the single player. Single Player is not bugged, it just has truly horrible A.I. design, the worst I have ever seen in a game. How on earth could anyone design it so horribly? This game is designed so you rely on your team, but your A.I. teammates in single player are inherently unreliable. Whether you win or lose is based on luck, not skill. It is not challenging, despite how hard it is to win...because it is my luck being tested, not my skill.

Both Singleplayer and Multiplayer is broken. How is this even possible?
