This is not a rant just my opinion so turn your eyes elsewhere if you don't want to read my opinion and you're just going to flame about it.

I gotta say I had high hopes for this title. I feel really let down splash damage.
I know games have issues at release but being unplayable is ridiculous.
I talked this game up to my friends but none of them decided to buy it with me and I am wishing I had waited too.

The issues I have with the game:
FIRST AND WORST - WHY IN THE HELL IS PS3 VERSION 720P ? I FEEL RIPPED OFF RIGHT THERE!!!!
Second - the AI, this subject is a dead horse so I won't elaborate.
Third - Campaign was way too short on both sides.
Fourth - No Lobby for Clans? for an online coop shooter we need this feature.
Fifth - The LAG and Latency issues are what kill this game so badly for me. I have high speed internet and I play alot of
different online games. I haven't had issues with playability like I have with Brink. I get waves of LAG that cripples
gameplay. I mean, frozen for 5 seconds and then bouncing around to different spots on the map. This is completely
unplayable.

Not everything is a 0 in my book though. I do like the following features of the game:
First - Art style. The general overall look of Brink is amazing.
Second - Teamplay, this part is the best feature of the games dynamics.
Third - Character customization.... I LOVE IT!!!

I am so let down by this title it really frustrates me. I wish there were something I could do with this game that would make
me feel like my $65 was well spent, but there isn't.

I'd really like a little explanation from Splash Damage or some kind of reassurance that some of these glaring issues are going to be addressed.

it sounds like you are only focusing on the bad parts. yes there are times when i am bouncing all over the place.. that's cuz the host isn't good. i usually leave and try again and BAM!.. most times a better host is out there with a nice clean, non laggy game and i have the most fun since 007goldeneye/perfect dark on N64... so while i agree there is lag... unplayable is really a dicision made by the individual gamer. i find this game playable, been doing it since may10th. i won't be trading it in either, i don't see any other 'taking risk' type shooters out there besides borderlands coming anytime soon.
