Language availability issues

Hello,

I've bought the Spanish version of Brink for the PS3, and while it plays correctly (dubbing and text in Spanish) when the console's set up in Spanish, when I set it up in English (as I always do, to enjoy everything in its original glory) it plays in French! Text and all! Obviously I can't take it back to the store as they'll test it in Spanish and it will look OK.

Is there any hope of a patch for this?

Yep, just said that you can`t choose the language. I mean yes, i am from germany but i`d also like to use the english version because i`m used to. So is there any chance to change languages?

*bump*

As i want to know why i can`t play the game in english? Like OP said, if you`re changing your systemlanguage to english it will let you play it on french! Shouldn`t be that hard to add missing languages. By the way whoever is responsible for this should getting lalalalalad up for such a fail, sorry.

Also having the same problem...

English speaker in the Germany and bought the game here
And when my PS3 is set to English the game plays in French? Err... No English track?
What happened there?

BTW the German voice talent is somewhat flat and ditto with the translation...
For example when buffing other players sometime they say 'sü?' which is probably a direct translation of sweet (as in cool etc.) in German
The problem is 'sü?' in German means cute or lovable... anyways does not fit the context, unless there is some gender bending subtext in game which I am not aware of :)

Could we please get an official reply this post...
Honestly is no fun playing this in German (for me anyways..)

so dear Bethesda

could we get an 'official' statement about the English audio track on the PS3 version released in Germany?

Is it a bug that French comes up when the system is set to English?
Or is there is really no English audio on this version??

Please let us know!

I dont want to have to buy the UK import...
