Ok, so I was playing mid game in a free play server, and steam had lost connection to the internet somehow. To my luck I log back in to Brink to discover my character at rank 4 level 19 is erased and gone. Relogged several times and it just isn't there, nice bug to find.

Do you remember if you happened to click on the screen while the game was loading in? From what I hear, that can cause your character to be erased like that.

No I was already in the game, running and gunning.
