I have found like 10 or so rigged shotguns, but when i disarm them all i get are shotgun shells. On top of finding shells all over the place i still have yet to actually get a shotgun... Is this some kind of bug ? Or do i find them further in the game ? So far i have found the 3 teammates and i have already got 1 in position and im working on the 2nd.. Would be nice to use a gun other then just a pistol and that holorifle.

There's a Caravan Shotgun in the Villa by one of Dean's Stashes. Unless you have some really good shotgun or fast shooting/reloading perks, it's not really the best thing to use against Ghosts. There is a hunting Shotgun in the Executive Suite, but by the time you get it, they won't really help you much anymore because you are dealing more with the collar and Holograms than things you could actually shoot. I think I found a Lever action SG too but that might be random loot.

Unlike Fo3, in F:NV if you disarm a rigged shotgun you do not get a shotgun.
In the Villa: a caravan shotgun can be found near a Dean's Secret Stash (go exploring, it's fun!).
Later in the Sierra Madre you can find a Hunting Shotgun and a Lever Action shotgun.

A lot of folks don't seem to know this but there is a Single Shotgun sticking out from the edge of an unreachable balcony in the Villa not too far from the Police Station.Look for a skeleton on a balcony and either jump up and grab it or shoot it down with another weapon.

Edit:I know what your going to say,why get the Single Shotgun instead of the double-barreled Caravan Shotgun,well it's easier to aim without that weird screw!

The single shotgun is pretty nice if you have "Shotgun Surgeon" perk. Use magnum buckshot and sneak attacks to alpha ghost people.

I`ve found a few caravan shotguns, a lever action shotgun somewhere out in the villa and area, and a hunting shotgun in the Madre.
