When you are vilified with a faction, are they supposed to attack you automatically? I've been vilified with the NCR for a while now, and besides the ranger hit squads every now and then no other NCR troops will attack me at all. I've seen people talk about getting attacked by factions they were vilified with before, but I'm not sure if it's because they were wearing faction armor without realizing it, or if my game is somehow bugged to make them not attack me.

Well if you are wearing the armor of that faction then your standings with them will be neutral. I am vilified with both the legion and NCR but when you wear their armor you are basically disguised as them.

Yes I know that, but I'm walking around with reinforced leather armor. I'm just curious if they are SUPPOSED to attack you when you're vilified with them or not.

The NCR attack me whilst I'm vilified by them.
