Need a bit of help! :)

Hi gang!

O.K, so I have 82 hours into the best playthrough of New Vegas I have ever had. I've been having tremendous fun and have touched a few of the main quests for Mr House.

The problem is, I don't want to work for Mr House anymore. I want to work for the NCR and have done a lot of their sidequests and I am well liked by them. Whenever I go to Crocker there is no option to do a main quest with the NCR (presumably because I have gone too far with Mr House). I've done the Boomers quest and the Gamorrah quest for mister house.

Is there anyway to reverse this without losing hours of playtime? I am playing on PC so I am wondering if there is a console command that can trigger the NCR quest line and/or erase what I've done in the mainquest with mister house?

I'm extremely annoyed by all of this.

Thanks! :)

(Yes, time for me to be serious to say you have gone too far with Mr. House,
Spoiler
You need to restore an earlier saved game, and do the Boomer mission, but go to Crocker instead of House, and after that, do not go back to house except to kill him.

Simple, and easy. :whistling: )

Problem though, I've played about 20 hours since then and have done heaps of side quests.

Oh no :(

Check the Nexus; there may be a mod that lets you switch sides later in the process.

You could also do a bit of research into the main quest stages and console commands and try using them to reverse the state of the main quest.

Unfortunately, manipulating completed and uncompleted quests through the console often results in tons of glitches and erratic game behavior. If the OP is going to try this, I'd strongly recommend a hard save before starting, in case it's necessary to revert back to it.
