Hi, I'm new at the forums

So I went to Caesar while doing the quest "Oh my Papa" took the book I had to so Regis would believe me, and then tried to left the whole place. Fast travel didn't work, of course, and when I left the fort I had to give 'em my Platinum chip. Later I went back there to get the chip back, but as I had killed many legionaries during the time off the fort, they tried to kill me the moment I got there. I killed all the soldiers in the outer fort with Veronica, (no one of them had the platinum chip of course) and I thought that Caesar would have it. Then I told Veronica to wait there and I used a stealth boy to sneak through the inner fort, and then I killed everybody in Caesars tent with a sniper rifle (oh yes, with stealth boy and high sneak skill, they can't see you, I'm a sniper you see) and looted Caesar, but he didn't have the chip. I looted everybody in that tent, nobody had it. So my question is, where is the chip physically after giving it to Caesar? I'd like to find it so I could decide what to do with it.

Now English isn't my native language, so I hope you understand what I say

You should have gotten the chip back when you left the fort along with the other items, If you already entered the facility beneath the fort, you might have left the chip there, technically it serves no other purpose than being a quest-gadget and a key for that area.

er, maybe the guys in the weather station thing have it.

Well, seems that somebody in Caesars tent DID have the chip (probably Caesar) because I just found the chip from my inventory, even that I didn't loot it from anyone in that tent. Must've been some kind of thing you can't leave in to a body, so it automatically comes into your inventory. Thanks anyway:)

And btw if you leave the fort, they let you leave with all your stuff EXCEPT the chip.
