Where are the deathclaw?

Post » Mon Feb 14, 2011 7:18 am

I'm lvl 20+ and pretty far into the game and haven't run into any deathclaw or anything exciting to kill (except ghouls). Is there a list of all creatures in the game and where they are? Because I've only run into a small amount of creatures and feel like I'm missing out. Thanks.

Quarry Junction, and North East of Cottonwood Cove across the river. Be forwarned, the strip of land across the river has roughly 25 to 30 Deathclaw.

I suspect they have extraordinary hearing and smell. I've never really thought about it, but what is a Deathclaw mutated from?

You can find them in many places if you wander off the road. I found a family of them south of Nipton, up a hill just beyond a drive-in theatre.

They ate me. :sadvaultboy:

Jackson/Jacobs Chameleon, something like that. The Wiki should answer it.

Yup- took me 3 sniper headshots starting from stealth, with 25% dmg boost from Slasher and 50% from crafted .308 hand load ammo.
