My minor annoyance of New Vegas.

Post » Mon Feb 14, 2011 8:19 am

I never noticed this in Fallout 3, but the clouds never change in New Vegas. Maybe because we have a blue sky and I look at the sky alot more now, but it's the same cloud patteren. It would be nice to see the clouds change pattern a bit. Other wise I am loving the game.

From what I recall, it was more or less the same in Fallout 3. Except in Fallout 3, there was that disgusting green tint over everything, so maybe it was less noticeable.

Talking about crowds I would have liked to see a lot more soldiers at camps and stuff, i travel to a camp thats got enough tents to accomadate 100+ soldiers and you only ever see about 15 soldiers in the base :/ like at Ceasers camp also, you would expect there to be a hell of a lot more soldiers considering its the LEADERS camp, yet i went through there killing everyone with ease seeing there was only about 20 soldiers if that :(

It's more or less the exact same as Fallout 3. I guess Bethesda wasn't to keen on creating sky boxes for Fallout 3, seeing as mostly everything was green and overcast, so those carried over to New Vegas.

I would really like that too. If only Gamebryo could handle more than 7 NPCs on the screen at once. :shakehead:

I think the radio station selection is my biggest annoyance. Mr. New Vegas has got a great voice, but the same 5 songs over and over again drive me crazy, and MNV says the same few lines of dialogue. It gets annoying late in game, when you can recite what he says word for word. Or maybe I just play the damn game too much.

One minor thing that annoys me is how my hot keys are wiped clean when I enter a casino due to the items (weapons, of course) on my inventory being taken from me.

As for the clouds, I've never noticed.
