Unfortunately I dont have any help for you but I just encountered the same problem. Sigh, I am entirely sick of these issues. Freezing is one thing but corrupted data is asinine. How hard is it to have the game save before you open a door instead of after? No more corruption. your welcome bethesda, I expect the check in the mail.

Yeah so odd i was doing everything just fine had no problems actually like i did at first with dead-money but then when i did that quest an left the shop black screen then corrupted data. Sadly i do not want to level up again or just fast lvl to 9-10 just to go out there an feel safe - _ -;'

To either of you guys -- did you have multiple save files? If so, were they all corrupted? Or were you only using auto-save?

Mutiple. Lost three saves. Also auto-save did not work as well.

Just to verify that it's not a hard drive issue, do you have any other games that you have save files with that you could load up and check?

Yeah checked both Kuf&RE5. My saves along with everything i had in them were still there. Only New vegas had the problem. Went into system an checked everything an only that had Corrupted Save ;/

luckily only one save file was corrupted and my last one was just a couple hours back. I used to save before exiting every door but recently stopped because I havent had that issue in a while. I guess I will start again but hate doing it because it completely ruins the immersion to see that pause menu all the time.

Oh man, this DLC can corrupt ALL of your saves? I'm going to back my essential saves up then to my flash drive and try to finish the main Honest Hearts quests asap. I'm not "that" worried though, just a little disappointed that something so grave could occur. I don't want to lose my 150 hours just yet. I'll start over after Lonesome Road gets released, not before then.

I love the tribal stuff and natural landscape btw. It makes me think of Skyrim. <3

Hey no speak, just replying in here because Nick has seen at least this one for sure. I too have the same problem but I first encountered a frozen loading screen for my first three attempts before giving up going to be and waking to find fully corrupted saves :banghead:

Yeah ; /, But if they can patch an fix it i will be fine with it. Just i am stuck at the point of the game locking at the forever load screen.

Try this, remove the NV patch by selecting it and deleting off your HD, then back out to the point that you can clear your system cache. Once cleared log back onto NV and re-dl the patch (this should be the only patched game now) then load up an earlier save... this fixed my infinite loading screen, and luckily only my top save (which was only ten minuets of work) was corrupted and it let me play again. I already shut off my Xbox again and loaded it back up by going to load (this seem to be important because continue still freezes) and playing again :) this is not 100% fool proof since I could only try it myself so if others could try it would be awesome!
