Hi, preordered FONV from an etailer. The game came as a DVD. The installer installs the steam engine, although I did not purchase it through steam. The etailer provided me with a DLC code, however, I can't find the DLC anywhere. I do not have a downloadable content menu item on the game splash screen, and when I select DLC option on steam, it tells me that there are no DLCs.

From what i know, there aren't any DLC's as such. There are the different gear packs that came with the pre-orders depending on where you pre-ordered the game. But actual DLCs as we know them from F3 haven't been released yet.

As for the game being installed through steam; that's a requirement. Several hard copy games are installed through steam but you usually don't need steam to run, inorder to play it afterwards.

The sheet that has my Mercenary Pack code on it, includes the instructions:

"To Download the Mercenary Pack:
1. Open the Steam Client
2. Select "Games" from the menu bar, and choose "Activate a Product on Steam"
3. When prompted, enter in the product code"
