Hey all,
I'm new to fallout but the game is sick. Only problem I'm having right now is I got 3 active quests: "Booted", "Heartache by the number" and "they went that a way". I haven't attempted "they went that a way" yet but dude the other two I'm getting my ass handed to me.
How the hell can I save the captives on "booted"-- its me against like 4 legions and a dog.....I die every time and for "Heartache by the number" I start at the goodsprings cemetery and no matter how i try and make it to the caravans for the gun runner thing I die every time as well.
So I love the game but right now I'm just stuck and do anything. Can someone please help so I can continue this sick game please. Ideas? Maybe what I'm doing wrong? Hints......Anything I need it. Thanks again!

If you're going to attempt the Gunrunner's quest, I suggest waiting till a little later in the game when you have multiple companions because once you pick the Gunrunner's gate lock, you lose karma and if the guards catch you, they will all come after you and you will die. (That's how I did it anyway, using three players to complete that quest) However, according to Wiki, you can also supposedly activate a Stealth Boy and pick the lock and sneak to the front door of the factory then retrieve the info from the terminal to the right of the room. You should then be able to make it back out to the Wastelands without being detected. Like I said, though. The only way I was able to complete this quest was to kill everyone. (And, according to Wiki, there's a guy named Isaac there that later gives you a quest whom you're not supposed to kill, but I think I may have in all the commotion..... oops.) Anyway, that's my advice. Good luck!
