I feel like this game was to cookie cutter and didn't really cater to me.

I was an early enemy of the Legion because I helped out the Van Graffs (sp?). Later, a man approached me and gave me safe travel to Caesar. When I got there, I was attacked like the game didn't recognize what had happened. I killed everyone, including Caesar. I recently finished the game, and I realized I got no closure with Benny because that was Caesar's job (allowing me to kill Benny).

I sided with Mr. House and was underwhelmed with the ending, it just didn't feel right. This was mostly because I would have liked to rule Vegas myself, but I couldn't figure out how to kill house and I ended up just siding with him, forcing myself to kill my favorite people in the game, the Brotherhood.

My 100 speech carried me through the ending easily and the montage of pictures just didn't do it for me.

Another gripe I have is not having much to spend credits on. I finished the game with like 50k and nothing to spend it on.

All this being said, I was wondering if you guys have any reccomendations for fun, different ways to play the game. Also, sorry about my english, I only have 2 years experience with the language so it won't be impeccable (and it took me 20 minutes to write this).

So...you're complaining that the game was terrible because of the choices you made?

I'm not really complaining, these are just some issues I had. I enjoyed the game overall, I guess.

I love the game, but some parts are definately underwhelming. Like getting to the strip for the first time, there just wasn't much going on. Also, for the last battle, I would have expected hundreds of enemies in the background scenery (where you can't go) to make it seem like the battle actually mattered.

• Your PC is but one person in the game world... The game should cater to no one. :shrug:
  
• The slideshow at the end is different for different players... it reflects how your PC's choices affected their fates, and the future...

Perhaps a 2nd play through using a different style PC, and taking the roads less traveled... (salted with a few odd choices to see how it results in the end)

Understood, but It's kind of ridiculous I didn't even get to confront Benny.

I haven't gotten that far myself, but for a game of this size & scope, there will be omissions (both accidental and intentional)

You chose the wrong path, I'm afraid. Ruling Vegas needs the Wild Card questline, not House Always Wins. Saving the Brotherhood requires either Wild Card or For The Republic (assuming you don't put an anti-NCR zealot in charge of the Brotherhood.) Possibly also the Caesar questline.



Implants.



Quite impossible on console hardware, I'm afraid. Also the reason you can only have two companions at once for any length of time.



That's due to your choices. In my playthrough I was able to use speech to get him up to his suite without guards (think I did it by threatening to reveal Yes Man to House), and then punched him to death while his pistol pinged impotently off my power armor.

What are Implants?

I also got Benny up to my room, but I told him I'd work with him and he ran away and sent his goons up. Never saw him again

Implants can increase your SPECIAL and provide other beneficial modifications to your character.

Benny runs away but gets captured by the Legion. You should find him tied up on his knees inside Ceasar's Tent.

Implants are very expensive and permanent augments in which implants can increase your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. and a few other things...

Also, if you took Benny's suite key from one of the dead goons you could have initiated the Yes Man quest line which allows you to control New Vegas.
