Xander root, and other plants

Post » Mon Feb 21, 2011 11:23 pm

Does Xander root grow back? I've been stockpiling it and broc flowers to make my own stims later, and i've waited a week and the place i've been trying to get it from (Goodsprings school) hasn't respawned yet.

And on other crops/plants, anyone know the exact growth time needed for maize/pinto/yucca/etc.? I've looked arouind, and I can't find anything.

They should eventually grow back, but http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Xander_root_(Fallout:_New_Vegas) are some more locations for Xander Root.

I go to Raul′s shack every now and then for Banana Yucca Fruit to make slasher, I always take all, and it the Banana Yucca Fruits always grow back.. I think it′s safe to assume the same goes for other plants

Broc Flowers at Crimson Caravan do grow back.

Certain vendors sell both Broc Flower and Xander Root.

Don't enter the areas where they grow for around 72-74 in-game hours, and everything killable and harvestable will respawn.

Generally, you'll find Xander Root growing in rocky, mountainous regions, search along the mountain areas between the rails and the NCR prison, and I know there are three that grow around the abandoned shack near the Yangtze Memorial.

Plant's regrowth is random, sometime an area would have every plant in sight good for harvest, sometimes there would only be one.

Most doctor would have a few Xander root on them.

There's some gardens with lots of plants in Westside (or just outside Westside) that's free for the taking...in some of those gardens there's mixed in plants that you can steal too, I think, ups, I lost some karma.
