Aba Daba Honneymoon: Stuck on a delivery.

Post » Tue Feb 22, 2011 5:22 am

Been trying to complete most or all of the quests to get to level 30, so I decided to go back and do some old quests. Started doing Aba Daba Honneymoon and everything was going fine. That is until I got to the part where I had to deliver the package to Don Hostetler, if I try to talk to him he just says "I should kill you right here, right now, for what you've done." Now I know this is because I didn't stop his daughter from killing his wife in Someone to Watch Over Me. Does anyone know if there are any possible workarounds or can I not complete this quest?

Happened to me too. I was furious because then I wished I had just killed the daughter instead of letting her go.

Anyway, no workaround. At least not on a console.

To be fair, it does make sense. You did something that pissed him off so naturally he won't accept anything you have.

Yeah, ditto. Wiki suggests that there's no way around this. Bummer, as I think you need to finish that quest in order to get a certain special Unarmed move.

I am new here and looking for solutions to problems, but this still isn't right.

If I pissed motor-runner off, then it should have told me the quest failed immediately. !!PERIOD!! Other quests do this, what makes this one special.

I persoanlly failed the initial conversation entering the vault and didnt kill Motor-Runner so I could finish the quest at a later time. Now that I am trying to do it, he refuses to talk.

Even if interaction with Bryce Anders screwed the quest, I should have been informed.

I like the game, but problems like this make it extremely unenjoyable. I know the answer I will get is not to play it, but maybe someone should have played it more before realeasing it.
