12.7 ammo : Fallout: New Vegas

Yeah it hardly warrants a thread but...

I have a 12.7mm sub machine gun thats kind of similar to a P90.I have barely any ammo for it and cant find a vendor that sells it.Any ideas where to get a decent amount?

Gun Runners sometimes have it. If your repair skill is high enough, you can make it yourself at a reloading bench.

ive only got 12 rounds of the stuff and im at 56 hours of gametime... cant seem to find it anywhere

i always thought the 12.7 ammo was the same as .50 cal

Im gonna keep letting the shops respawn and see what the deal is.

Is 12.7 the ammo for the silenced pistol? Not the pistols you mod with the silencers but the pistol that already comes with a silencer. I had around 100 rounds of those but I sold them because I never used it.

Oh yes. The casings have to be 12.7 don't they... forgot. It would have been nice if they had "small/large pistol/rifle" casings, so you could make different bullets from another bullet of the same "type."

Luckily, I found a vendor that sells THOUSANDS of these rounds.

His location? Camp McCarran. You should know who, by now.

All I need is the pistol to go with it, but I'm having fun with my beautiful Maria.

Edit:BTW the sub machine gun can be equipped with a silencer so theres 2 viable options for this ammo.

Where can the PC get a hair cut? I know there is a guy in the kings that can do it if you join, I've looked on the wiki and googled it, all that come up with is a place called supercuts near NV, proberbly bs.

70 hours in and I only know of the guy with the King.He wont cut my hair of course cause hes "like sooooooo busy with making kings hair perfect".Its a real pain but I dont think theres any other way.

So now I have another quick question thats not worth a thread.If I dont wanna work with the BOS can I still get power armour training somewhere?

AFAIK you can only get it at the end of the BOS questline.

Actually, a certain 'Enclave Soldier' will teach you power armor training..but it's a long and tedious process, and he's a companion. I won't say anything further.
