Side with whomever you feel is right for you. Don't forget you can also side with Mr. House.

well i figured siding with house meant you sided with the ncr. i figure they go hand in hand almost. i know if you side with caesar you have to kill mr house. i just want to know if their are any noticeable benefits siding with either faction.

Side with the Legion, some of their troops use melee you'd fit right in.

Grab your self some throwing spears for range and use a good old ripper to tear off those NCR limbs.

i am just worried that i wont have all the resources(shops and stuff) available to me if i sided with the caesar than if i sided with ncr.

Gun Runners is really all you will ever need (assuming you have a ton of caps at your disposal)
if worst come to worst, just use the gun repair/money glitch

does that gun repair/money glitch still work? isnt that where you sell the same type of gun to a vendor that it has in its invetory and then you buy it back and in your invetory it's fully repaired? or is it different.

yes it still works. i did it during my house playthrough. cause the guy i was roleplaying was rich from working for house.

just be sure you bring a gun thats at really low condition while you do it at gun runners. cause they really over charge

Well no mr.house is out to take over the damn... so the ncr suspect that and you have to kill MR.house for any story you play on.

well if you direct the power to freeside and vegas you stay neutral with ncr but if you direct it to the local areas you get more fame by the followers by the apocalypse. might want to check the mission out at the fallout wiki to be 100% sure of the rewards and consequences.

SPOILER?
.....just to be sure, dont read if you havent entered helios one yet....

i was speeking of the "archemedis", they pretty much tell you during the conversation that doing one thing will help "so and so" and doing this will help "them" but then you have a secondary choice to activate "archemedis" wich shuns you from ncr.

It depends really. Both offer their perks for being aligned with them.

Legion: They are in control of few towns/cities throughout the Mojave Wasteland.. Although they do have a safehouse in which you can by stealth items and they have a scavenger area where you can collect stuff the legion has scavenged. They have tough warriors also that look pimp.

NCR: They have a cool emergency radio that lets you radio in a Ranger to support you in combat or drop supplies. They are in control of most towns/cities. More soldiers than the Legion (but typically weaker).

It is truely up to you. My current game I am aligned with the Legion. True to Caesar!
