How do I gain Legion respect w/o... : Fallout: New Vegas

How do I gain Legion respect without killing NCR troopers and/or doing the quest after Render unto Caesar. Please help I'm trying to learn the Legion Assault Unarmed move.

I'm not sure. Try gaining 50 unarmed then talk to Lucius.

EDIT-I don't think you can gain respect.

The only way I got respect was to do the quest Render Unto Caesar, but didn't kill Mr. House. Yet.

It's kind of a rip-off since most of the key places in the Mojave Wasteland are owned by the NCR troopers.
