Ratslayer

the humble cudgel

and the fire axe (works great for putting radscorps down)

I'm traveling with a sniper and he has better aim than I do so that's covered. I love energy weapons and have a laser rifle modded with the beam splitter, the focus optics and a scope. I love it because repair is easier because there are so many of them around. My other favorite is the Heavy Incinerator...hot stuff.

Ratslayer for now cause i cant find scope for my hunting rifle and just got ARCHIMEDES II ... it is so AWSOME

tried it on a young deathclaw and couldn't 1 hit it on hard but its still awsome

Edit: Mysterious magnum is pretty cool too because of the music when u draw/holster

My sneaky sniper guy carries the either Gobi or the Ratslayer. Depending on where he's going and what he's after. I like the Ratslayer with its suppressor best but the Gobi has better stopping power. For indoors he finds the fully modded 10mm pistol quite useful for delivering head shots out of nowhere. For emergencies he carries the 12.7 SMG. Its a inaccurate bullet hose but good for when his cover is blown and enemies are charging him.

I love the Hunting Rifle, especially now I can put a Scope on it (still looking

). Also, the .44 Magnum is nice. I'm guessing my end game equivelants will be the AMR and Ranger Sequioa (sp?). I also carry a Combat knife for CQB, just loove the simplicity and brutality of it.

You may just want to go with a sniper rifle, which uses the same ammo. I found a hunting rifle scope at the

Right now I'm using:

Ratslayer, for sniping of low health/low armor targets (most humanoids and random fauna). My primary "trekkin' across the wasteland" weapon.
Gobi Campaign Rifle, for sniping of heavily armored or highly dangerous targets, or just anything I really want to make sure dies.
All American, for indoors/close combat.
Maria, for smuggling into Casinos.
Modded up 10mm SMG, because it repairs easily, ammo is plentiful. This is my cheap go-to weapon for mopping up feeble opponents so I don't run down the condition or waste ammo on the primary weapons.

Of the lot, for sheer volume of usage my "favorite" would likely be the Ratslayer, but if I had to keep only one, it would be the Gobi or the All American.

My favorite is the All American, and not just because the name is awesome! I also love the Gobi sniper rifle alot, but the All American gives us that 24 rounds of goodness for when the baddies close distance too fast.

Wish work wasn't so dreadful at the moment!

Straight out old Trail Rifle, with a backup gun being a scoped .44 (modified).

The only other two I carry are the riot shotgun and a silenced sniper rifle.

Melee work it's the hatchet and straight razor...or simply sit back and have a cool one while Veronica and Rex do some mauling....

i tend to use all my weapons so a favorite i do not have (YET...) but im very fond of the .44 mag and the sniper rifle, i seem to resort to them in my "predicaments". but i always walk around with the .357 mag or "THAT GUN" out, mainly becuase ammo is cheap and easy to find for them. i still have much to discover tho so there is always room for change.

lol I ~~wasted~~ used all my caps to buy the sniper at Gun Runners, it was worth every cap. Kinda makes my suppresed,scoped,extended mag Varmint rifle redundant though =(

You realize the Ratslayer is a VR with all those modifications and a night scope?

And the only price is killing a few rats xD.
