I can't rememeber if in Fallout 3, if Travelling Merchents had names. I just had 2 Travelling Merchents, one male the other female, walking alone, then they met some NCR troops and walked with them. On my way to Novack they encountered some Ceasers Legion. Well Ceasers Legion didn't make it but they were able to shoot down the 2 Travelling Merchents but not the Brahmin. Now the 2 Brahmin are "free" I guess. So I grabbed their look, but I am wandering if I have lost them for the game forever now, or will more Travelling Merchents respawn? I sort of felt bad for not helping out, but they were not in red, and I don't want to take sides yet.

I don't want Ceasers Legion POed at me right now, so I just stayed out and just took the loot that remained. But still I felt bad. Will someone take their place? I guess my penence is having this long walk to Novak right now being over encombered. Man it's slow. I was hoping to sell the loot to the Travelling Merchents but now I can't.

If it's the same as FO3, then I think they respawn. The non-named merchants, at least.
