Iam paying as a mercenary character and i was wandering what would be the most mercenary-ish thing to do.
Destroying them or make them join up with the NCR.
I personally can't stand the brotherhood but them again i have heard they have a pretty good merchant.
Any more pro's and con's?

I found it easier to arm the self-destuct and then run like hell, takes up faar to much AP runds to kill them all

yes but you get nice gear and a lot of XP on the way if you kill them

XP I don't really care about, I even try to avoid xp But yes nice loot but you won't be able to take it all, you might even loose caps seeing how much AP round you will use up

depends, if your courier is someone who looks people in the face when he/she kills them, slaughter them all
if he/she's a snake, then blow it up

I recommend you listen to a fun song while slaughtering them all, like Ain't That a Kick in the Head, it's pretty funny

Why not just hack the turret terminal and let the turrets clear out the top level for you? Wait until the scribes come back up to sleep then you only have a handful of people to kill yourself in the lower level. Then you can thoroughly loot the place before you blow it up. Don't leave them too long....they tend to start respawning after a while.

As far as whether to do it.....depends on your character and if you like them or not. If you are a NCR partisan it's legitimate to take a "enemy of my enemy" approach and spare them as the NCR badly needs friends right now. If you're a "when I'm paid, I always see the job through" type of guy, then by all means exterminate them as Col. Moore wants them dead so bad she can taste it.

The decision to destroy The Brotherhood of Steel depends how you wish your ending credits to be. I think you should at least try it once. Perhaps with a Machete Gladius.

Do what your employer pays you to do. If there's no money in it, then there's no point.

And if you ARE going to do it (obviously because somebody is paying you, and *only* because you're getting money for it... you're a merc), then do it efficiently and blow the [censored] place up.
