I just think Obsidian missed an opportunity for an excellent companion quest.

How so? her grandchildren either died of old age,were killed by super mutants or became super mutants themselves. Most mutants remember very little to nothing of there life before the transformation.
Her companion quest is about if she takes all her medication and becomes stable(no Leo, but forgets her grandchildren) continues to take half dosage and remains as she is, or stops taking them all together and becomes completely crazy.
