Deathclaws are a pain so are mutants epcially considering how they are faster than me, any weapon like the dart gun to cripple them and give me a chance.

There is an unique BB gun that has a bonus to cripple. Dont remember where I found it though.

Anti-Materiel Rifle cripples enemies pretty darn quick.

Anti-Material Rifle (.50 cal) with AP rounds, sometimes you might get lucky taking out a leg on the first shot, but it might require two shots. Remember Deathclaws are the hardest mob in the game, (yes, even Cazadors are 2nd to them...not by much though). I have it on hardcoe mode on Very Hard difficulty and I have an excellent sniper build and It took me 9 AP rounds to take down a Mother Deathclaw....for some reason they don't like it when you shoot their babies in front of them :shrug: who knew?

the AM rifle just blows their legs clean off and kills them for me...

Better start saving my caps for one of them bad boys then
