I want to recruit Cass, but I need to start the quest for Alice Maclafferty, however, I have exhausted all dialouge options with Cass & Alice and there is no option to begin the quest. Can somebody for the love of God help me?

Did you ask alice about a job? get the job to carry the message to the scientist then you'll get another job, you'll eventually get a job to buy out Cassidy caravans. When you convince Cassidy to do it your able to recruit her.

Also, apparantly if you kill the Van Graffs or Alice, Cass may become non-recruitable. (Happens to me when I kill the VG's)

Also some common sense advice which I learned the hard way:if you are a terrorist to the NCR, never approach her w/o a disguise until she is recruited as she does become hostile :/ I thought she would be like Meyers.

I have done none of the above; Nuetral with the NCR, I have killed niether the Van Graffs or CC (yet). The dialouge option simply is not there, even if I talk to Don Hosteller before hand and he specifically says to speak to Alice for a job.
