It's not a G.E.C.K. It's a supply cache you can turn in to Bitter Springs, if you want good karma/be a good guy and have a decent science, you can help make it safe for them to use the supplies.

Oh I know, I guess Obsidian just didnt bother. But no, it's not a G.E.C.K. just supplies to help Bitter Springs :)

Yeah theres 3 supply caches that you can return to Bitter Springs for a quest.

A great quest for building your karma, if you care about that sort of thing. You just need a science of 25.
