I am just curious, I want to know how the NV skills, and SPECIAL, effect you in real life. As, it's better if I give an example...
What I mean, is, what are you in real life stats, using the new vegas layout below, give numbers and reasons why you think so.

S- 5 ( I am not very strong, kinda skinny actually.)
P- 4 ( I am not very aware of the environment surrounding me.)
E- 7 ( Playing basketball has increased my ability to run for awhile. I can go pretty far without stopping.)
C- 6 ( I am okay at using my "witty charms" to influence people. Not the overwhelming type though.)
I- 7 ( I am a smart kid, granted I have all straight A's in class, and my basic knowledge of all around things help.)
A- 6 ( I wouldn't consider myself very agile. I may be contradicting myself with endurance...)
L- 3 ( When it comes to luck, I have NONE. I am awful at getting lucky, I find pennies while others find 20 dollar bills.)

Barter- 9 ( Haha, I couldn't create good deals if I tried. Every now and then maybe.)
Energy Weapons- 0 ( Sadly, I have no experience with plasma or laser rifles yet.)
Explosives- 5 ( Fireworks count, right?)
Guns- 45 ( I have done my fair share of hunting, and I am an okay shot on the range, but no expert.)
Lockpick- 2 ( Tried once, failed miserably.)
Medicine- 5 ( I know what kills me and what does not.)
Melee- 40 ( I can swing a bat, and I can hurt people with it. I am sure everyone can though, I just am balanced swinging stuff though, if that makes sense?)
Repair- 1 ( Duct Tape.)
Science- 67 ( I am very good with computers and anything involved with them. My common knowledge exceeds most students when talking about them.)
Sneak- 10 ( I wish I was as ninja as I thought I was.)
Speech- 50 ( Sometimes I can use my speech to persuade, lie, and get some things I didn't think I would possibly obtain.
Survival- 20 ( I can camp, and create a fire, and cook, but I am no where near considered "Expert."
Unarmed- 60 ( I know my way around a fight or two, and usually win most of them thanks to basic self defense and my fists.)

Sneak- 30 (I like to sneak around and scare my friends. Usually I'm impressed with how quiet I can be)
Speech- 75 (easily my highest skill. Let's just say I can talk >Lie< my way out of situations pretty well B)
Survival- 60 (I was in the Boy Scouts for a while and came out with some powerful knowledge of the outdoors and how to survive.)
Unarmed- 50 ( Every fight I have ever entered has been won hands down, thanks to a good knowledge of what places hurt and some brute strength.)

L - 5 Flip of a coin really, one day I get a break the other day I get a depressing problem. but thats life

P - 6 20/20 vision but don't really pay that much attention to my surroundings.
E - This one I can't get. Endurance in games is always the big dudes and they get more health, but when I think Endurance I think cardio. Video game world endurance? 7 (I'm big) Cardio?maybe 4 or 5, I'm not a huge fatty but not much of a runner)
C - Meh, 5. I'm not the most charming fellow but I'm not a weirdo.
I - 9 I'm a genius, what can I say?
A- 4 Again, I'm kind of big.
L - 6 Honestly, I have always felt kind of lucky. Nothing really bad ever happens. Also I have had a lot of near accidents when driving.

Barter - 60 I can make good deals happen, usually.
Energy Weapons - ummmm...how can we guess this one?
Explosives - 1 I would blow my own fingers off. Scared of things that can explode.
Medicine - 20 My mom is a doctor and I picked up some general knowledge, but afraid of blood.

Repair - 10 Smacking [censored] is easy, but rarely works to fix stuff.

Lockpicking - 1 Never done it before, also big, stubby fingers would make it hard.
Unarmed - 70 I could beat people up. I use to take Tae Kwon Do or however you spell it.

Oh, these are fun. My first character in NV was a representation of myself, but it wasn't entirely accurate (for gameplay purposes).

S: 5 (More or less average - I can bench a bit, but it's not a hobby of mine)
P: 5 (I can't see without my glasses, but with them my vision is perfect. Four Eyes Trait, anyone? Without glasses, my PER would be about 3)
E: 4 (Untested - I've never taken a punch before, nor would I want to)
C: 3 (I'm an introvert by nature - I tend to avoid human contact when I can. My friends are few and far between)
I: 8 (I'm not a genius by any stretch, but I don't really have to exert too much energy to do well in my studies. That is to say, I wouldn't stare dumbly at Arcade Gannon's use of Latin)
A: 4 (I'm 6'3" and 250 lbs. I'm not a nimble creature by any stretch)
L: 6 (I would describe Luck as "human potential" in the world of Fallout. I believe we're all capable of more than we think)

Overall, a rather unimpressive specimen. At least, as far as gameplay goes. Now, for skills.

Barter: 60 (I've been shopping for myself since my mid-teens...I've gotten pretty good at it)
Energy: 40 (Seems overly complicated to me. "This Plasma Rifle lacks symmetry!", "Will this thing give me cancer?")
Explosives: 30 (I'm a bit too jumpy to use something so volatile)
Guns: 80 (At 21, I've shot more impressive ordinance than most - including a .50 sniper rifle and an elephant gun. I've been known to get a pretty tight grouping with a standard pistol)
Lockpick: 10 (I have no knowledge of this whatsoever, and would never attempt it out of fear of breaking something)
Medicine: 20 (Uh...I watch House?)
Melee: 70 (Beating my friends with sword-shaped sticks was a favorite pasttime as a child. It still is)

Science: 70 (I'm quite experienced with computers, and not entirely [censored] when it comes to physics and chemistry)
Sneak: 80 (I scare my mom all the time, and my coworkers are often spooked to find that I've snuck up behind them. I don't even have to try to do this. I'm just naturally stealthy)
Speech: 60 (I enjoy building my vocabulary, and can construct solid arguments on the fly)
Survival: 30 (Little to no experience...I'm good with animals, though!)
Unarmed: 10 (No experience here whatsoever. If I ever punched someone, I'd break my fist)
