I like my beret too and wouldn't want anyone to take it. At least he's polite....he could just take it with his bad self.

Anyway, bring him the right person and you'll get a 1st Recon beret as well. Right now, Boone and I both have the 1st Recon beret's on. If only I could find one for ED-E to wear...

I'm surprised Boone doesn't attack you after awhile, 1st recon guys don't take kindly to loosing their berets.

A bug on this I found though - or maybe found. He gave me a beret when I got him from the quest we did, and I've worn it ever since - a couple of 1st recon snipers doing the Mojave. However one time I accidentally took it from him during an EQ exchange, he gave me his "can I have my hat back please line", and I noticed there was only 1 of the hats in my inventory (the one I was wearing). Its almost like taking his caused it to vanish, not really sure what happened. I reloaded the auto-save from going in the shop to avert problems, but I found it interesting none the less.

HELL no if some one took my fav hat id be not happy.

I found that if i put the beret on and access the menu to trade with him and select the beret to give it to him it will duplicate it and we each had one :celebration:

So has anyone tried to make him wear a party hat? I figured it would be good punishment for whenever he makes a smart__ss remark on your remarkable aiming abilities....

He's like Dale from King of the hill, he's bald and embarrassed by it, so he always wears a hat. If he loses said hat he freaks out.
