Well, the quests have been completed normally; I can go to the ending amid the usual bugs or occasional console freeze. My problems stem from being Vilified by both the Legion and NCR. (Both are in the limbo status before vilified naturally)

The problem I am receiving is the Remnant Troopers attacking me on sight. While they are not that difficult to dispatch, I don't want to kill them (RP elements etc). I ordered them to help the NCR in the battle. As such, I believe the problem is that their alignment is not neutral, but to which side you ask them to fight with.

Does this happen to be part of the reason why you can't have a neutral side (House/Yes Man) ending with the Remnants? I also do not have the PC version to look. Can anyone confirm the alignment status and reason for why the Enclave Remnants attack me, even with an NCR Disguise? I do not start any aggressive behavior, they attack me on sight as well as the Legionnaires and my Securitron cohorts and companions.

I would request a patch change somewhere, but I do not know how to petition it.

I believe that that is indeed the unfortunate case, I play Xbox but just from the fact that they, for example, always attack you if you side with House regardless of side makes it pretty clear that they are not allied to you.

I've heard that if you manage to persuade the NCR heavy troopers with speech instead of attacking them when you upload the mainframe, they'll help you. Hope it at least helps.

I never get attacked by NCR during All Or Nothing (Mr. House's endgame quest). I actually almost always kill the Remnants myself in their bunker, but since I usually have a neutral or even positive reputation with the NCR I guess they won't attack me even if I do let them side with the NCR.

I've tried that actually before, because usually by level 30-35 I'll be using my 100 Speech skill to it's advantages.

It didn't help, you can get past the Heavy Troopers in a disguise, but the Remnant's still see you like Rangers, or something.

Edit: As for the Neutral House/Yes Man endings (this case is Yes Man), I have usually recruited the Enclave Remnants to help, and they would not attack. Reason for being vilified by both the Legion and NCR is because of the Meat of Champions perk. I'm very..unsubtle about getting it.
