I have heard alot of peope saying that if your finding the game boring, then role-play?

I know its an RPG..but how do i role-play effectively?

create a character that has a set background and know how you are going to play before you play it.

if he is a scientist, increase your medicine and energy weapon skill. and then either stealth, repair or science.

do you what a scientist would do, not what you would do.

but instead of a doctor, do it with any type of character you want. sniper, mobster, hit-man, NCR soldier, Legion Enthusiast, Mercenary, Merchant.
the possibility's are endless

Read my thread entitled "The Chemical Triad of Epic Might" The character I describe there is a good example of a kind of Role play, and also a very powerful character due to limiting her and focusing on the strengths such a character would have.

A great start would be to look up DnD alignments on wikipedia. That's always where I begin before I play a cRPG.

hehe or do what I did and created a female character and take blackwidow. Once I found benny I took him to his room and killed him in his sleep. after all he did shoot me in the head and left me for dead. woman scorned
