Does anyone NOT use V.A.T.S? : Fallout: New Vegas

Yep!

I don't use VATS for combat at all. It's part of my Apocalypse COW!boy gameplay. No VATS, hardcoe, only guns, hatches/knives, and dynamite...

Same exact thing for me too, the only drawback to this style is that the combat is spread over three types, deducting points from Barter, Survival, Repair, etc.

Have you seen a slow-mo fall from first person after a iron sight shot? Priceless.

I would use it, but I can't, crashes my game almost every time.

So yeah, i guess i don't use it either.
