WHO'S SIDE AM I ON?

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 12:48 am

I am at the point in the game where I am In Ceasar's camp, and I am faced with the choice of how Benny will die. I am really confused as to who the bad guy in this game is supposed to be. Should I be loyal to Ceasar and kill Benny? Do I help bring down Mr. House? Do I help Mr. House and the NCR bring down Ceasar's Legion? Help me out!

I know that if you let Benny go, you get a lot of XP, but the Legion turn on you, and I don't want to make enemies with the legion right now. Or do I? Plus they have all my weapons. Will I get them back if I help Benny?

Are there negative ramifications to killing Benny?

Should I kill Mr. House?

Should I side with the NCR or the Legion?

Save your game. Then try all options.

That depends on what you're ideal Vegas would be.

If you want a neon paradise like the Las Vegas before the war? Go with House.

If you want a casino free, strongly oppressed, and strict and harsh lawed Vegas? Go with Caesar

If you want Anarchy? Go with Yes-Man

If you want it to be obsorbed by the massive republic invading it? Go with NCR.

Talk to House, Caesar and the troopers, ask them what they're all about, and choose a side, don't like any them? Plunge Vegas into anarchy/chaos with yes-man.

Should I kill Mr. House?

Because you asked a direct question, I'm going to give a direct answer: Yes. Yes, you should kill Mr. House. Maybe after delivering some Snow Globes?

That's entirely up to you.

If you want to conquer Mojave, side with Elijah...well i think that also should consider as one of the "ending"

Do not be fooled, this man is trying to deceive you!

Good thing I'm here, I'll try to answer the question the best I can. Wouldn't it be best if that hypocritical psychopath Caesar would be gone? Yes it would. Wouldn't it be best if those sneaky untrustworthy NCR losers would be gone as well? Why yes, it would.

House is your man and you know it. Make him proud.

That depends on what you're ideal Vegas would be.

If you want a sin filled pit of wasted resources, go with House.

If you want a casino free, strongly oppressed, and strict and harsh lawed Vegas? Go with Caesar

If you want Anarchy? Go with Yes-Man

If you want its resources to be used for the common good, as well as uniting Vegas wih the biggest and most capable post war Faction to date, go with NCR.

Talk to House, Caesar and the troopers, ask them what they're all about, and choose a side, don't like any them? Plunge Vegas into anarchy/chaos with yes-man.

Yeah I umm *clears throat* I agree with everything Martyr said there. Long story short go with NCR, cant really lose with them.

You don't lose anything, except your pride, dignity, land and all your caps.

I just did what I thought was best for my character. There's virtually no one in the wasteland you can trust, in case you haven't figured that out by now. I think the most decent folk I encountered were the Kings, once you get on their good side.

What Colonel Martyr said. There are four possible endings so you can try all of them. I'd do this in different playthroughs, however, so that you can try different character builds and companions.
