If you reverse pickpocket a Deathclaw egg into a person's pocket, it hatches and kills them.

Deathclaw Promatory, here's a tip though go in completely unarmed and wearing nothing but a vault suit, deathclaw eggs are so heavy you wont be able to carry it if you dont.

Go to Tehatticuo Mine, drop down and swim across. There's will tons of loot like unique Power Armors and a hatchable Deathclaw Egg (yes you can keep it as a pet), and crates full of caps. You'll be rich for life. There's so much stuff though that you probably don't want to bring any weapons or armor, as you won't be able to carry it! Have fun becoming the first millionaire in Unique Power Armor with a Deathclaw for a pet!

You do not keep any creatures as pets, deathclaws will attack and kill you on sight, no matter what. And no creature's eggs in Fallout are scripted to hatch, they remain as eggs and only eggs. Most varieties are best sold for profit, some can otherwise be used in crafting recipes at campfires.

Pretty sure there's a mod where you can find a deathclaw egg that hatches into a little deathclaw. Also, there's a mod called Baby Deathclaw Commander that lets you hire one and he'll follow you around. You even get to pick his name from a list of 37.

The only pet you can have is Rex(xie) The Kings Dog. He can be acquired threw a Quest given from the King and Julie Farkas at the morman fort.
