None of the cards I buy are adding into my Caravan Deck

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 2:02 am

Ok, so, the first character I started sort of had this problem. At first when I bought cards the would usually go right into my Caravan Deck. Then they just stopped. Now I'm on my second character, and not one single new card has gone into my deck. I've bought several and they just sit in my inventory doing nothing. Anyone else had this problem? Is there something I can do about this?

Yes you can do something about this. It is a bug with the game, most people are encountering it, and it has a very simple solution. Find a mojave express box, dump your cards into it. They are under all Items. Now don't send them to another box because you'll have to go all the way there and get them again. Just hit the take all button after they've been dropped in the Mojave Express box. Voila, added to your deck. Now this trick may work with all containers, I have yet to try it. But there you go. Have fun playing. :)

Yes it's the same issue as with Primer, Cases etc. you buy from traders. Either chuck them on the ground or in any container, then pick them up. Problem solved.

Just in case if you prefer mods, this mod here http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34855 will also add the cards to your deck for you automatically.

Actually, I've tried droppind the cards on the ground (a la Primer Cases, Gun Powder Jars, etc.) and that didn't work for me. But maybe the Mojave Express thing will.

The fix suggested by ZombifiedRacoon works, big thanks to him/her/them/whatever for that, but does anyone else have a problem with the fact that you need an entire online community just to make this game playable half the time? :brokencomputer:

Thanks. It's best to keep stuff simple so I chose to use my Gamertag.

Him, and you're welcome. I've recieved a lot of help on these forums so I felt I should contribute to some of the solutions.

Edit: I added the second quote in because I didn't want to flood this post with my replies. Lol.
