When I first heard that I could get New Vegas on steam, I was pretty happy. I prefer steam as my gaming platform, as it keeps annoying securomesqe DRM software off of my computer, and it keeps me from having to worry about losing a CD.

Now that I have been playing NV though, I must say that I am a bit disappointed in the way that it is being handled by steam. I don't know what it is, but I am having serious issues with getting steam to launch Fallout NV. It says that it is preparing to launch the game for about 5-10 mins, before it gives up and tells me that the game is unavailable. I have never had this happen with any of my other games, so I am wondering why it is happening with NV.
