I just completed the quest I Fought the Law by choosing the NCR side.

After it was completed I heard Mr New Vegas on the radio say something along the lines of
"NCR FAILED to retake the NCRCF and problems with the powder gangers will likely continue"

Is this a script error or something, did I possibly do the quest wrong? Is this not related to
that quest? Did anyone else have this happen?

NPC responses to events are bugged. Mr. New Vegas does the same thing, but I've had verification by other characters that the game recognizes it.
Funny enough, I get Fiends complaining about Great Khans joining up with the NCR and Caesar's Legion. Often to each other in the same room.
