Of course it's not in New Vegas, other than fans rumormongering there was never any suggestion it would be- and the fan rumormongering was squelched by pointing out the distance between New England and Nevada.

i didnt realize massachusetts was in the mojave after the war
See the bombs fell, right? And they made this big hole between Nevada and Massachusetts. Well, that hole got mighty unstable and the whole state of Massachusetts fell right into it, sliding all the way over to the Grand Canyon, which is where it rests today.

Yeah, so someone edited it. You do know that those with more power on the wikia site can just restore it back to a previous state right?
So even if someone edited it they can just restore it back.
And mostly, the wikia is a reliable source. This is the second edit I've ever heard of really.
