I was just having a go at the yes man ending with my character. When I reached the opposite end of the dam, the drawbridge to the Legates camp was no longer at the end of a winding path, it was right there, just a stone throw away from the dam itself. Either my game has always been a little weird or this patch has for some reason shortened the Dam sequence slightly.
