Well aside from using energy weapons alot, I am also a common rifle user. Anyways I was just wondering what is your favorite rifle-class weapon in New Vegas? (not unique ones)

Brush Gun, though I haven't gotten my hands on a Trail Carbine yet.

I love the trail carbine, with the cowboy perk its a beast. Also uses .308 ammo, which is pretty common. Haven't gotten brush gun yet though...

The reason I didn't put the anti-material rifle is because of course people would choose it as it is powerful and reallt good. But I wanted to see what is the best out of these and plus the anti-material rifle is counted as a sniper-class weapon.

Marksman Carbine.

Don't think the many people know the Brush Gun can out damage the Anti-Materiel Rifle in both DAM and DPS. I have a hunch it can one-shot deathclaws with HP rounds, but I need to find out first since I just bought mine. If only finding the brass to make the SWC rounds wasn't such a pain.

I picked the Trail Carbine. With a scope mod installed and firing SWC hand loads it's a wonderful general use gun. Deathclaws have been the only thing to shrug off a sneak-attack headshot I've found. Everything else so far just dies with a headshot from that gun.
