Are there homes in fallout new vegas? or just the suites and such. If there are who can i talk to to get one?

There are a few permanent residences in the game like the motel in Novac and the room at the Lucky 38. No houses that I know of though.

Yea there are plenty, litterally tons of empty shacks in the game. I use the Gas station up in Goodsprings because a doctor is right there, and venders and water if you need H2O. There arep lenty of safe houses tho.. Some you find throughout the game exploring like i said empty shacks that have beds, and storage. There are also alot of Hotels in the game like in Novac you can rent a room, once you get to Vegas you have Multiple options. However there is one free one that you get on the bigger tall tower lucky 38.
