He's probably talking about what's indicated on the big, colorful, game map featured on several
sites and in the wiki too. It shows an underground path starting at Cottonwood cove
and ending up to The Fort.

We don't get to see it during normal play.
To get to The Fort, one has to talk to Cursor Lucullus.

speaking of tunnels,i know this aint the bug forum but does anyone else fall through the floor in the train tunnel up near nellis.if i try entering the room down there i fall through the floor and land back at the start of the tunnel.also theres a continuous flow of tin cans spewing out the door down the stairs and through the floor.wierd.

are you on the 360? because if so it happened to me also when i played the 360 version, but i now have a ps3 and the room works on it. theres a book and a construction helmet in there

The stairs worked on my last (360) game; maybe they patched it.
Lots of crafting supplies in there, if you care.
